The carriage house

Our carriage house luxury apartment is located in a separate building from the Estate House on the historic Maple Grove Estate. The great room has a queen hide-a-bed couch, Persian carpets, and antique furniture. The gorgeous fully-furnished kitchen has stainless appliances and granite countertops. The bedroom has a queen bed, antique dresser, and oriental carpet. Both the great room and bedroom have beautiful stained white oak hardwood floors. The large bathroom has a glass shower, double sinks, granite countertop, and porcelain marble floor. The huge private deck has views of the gardens.

The Property

Maple Grove is located on 7 acres of beautifully landscaped property with 700 feet of waterfront on the St. Lawrence River. The home is located in the Broadway Historic District, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. It is in the village of Cape Vincent, gateway to the Thousand Islands area of upstate New York.The house was built in 1838 for Theophilus Peugnet, a distinguished officer in Napoleon's Army.

The expansive lawn area on the grounds can be tented for large functions such as weddings, receptions, musical concerts, and parties.

Maple Grove is the ideal location for exploring both the Canadian and U.S. sides of the famous Thousand Islands Region. Guests may enjoy swimming, sailing, boating, kayaking, bicycling, snorkeling, scuba diving, strolling in our beautiful gardens, or walking to nearby Tibbitts Light House.
